The main lodge offers a beach bar and lounge, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a restaurant, and a spa. A variety of activities are also available. With only a handful of thoughtfully placed bungalows and villas, each with a stunning ocean view and a sense of isolation, guests can escape from the constraints of daily life and enter the wonderful simplicity of a tropical island paradise.
Rooms
Guests can choose to stay in a Beach Bungalow, one bedroom Beach Villa or four bedroom Beach Villa, all built along the water's edge and optimally spaced for privacy. With views of the ocean from the private patio and pristine beaches just a few steps away, each air conditioned bungalow and villa is well equipped and offer every comfort imaginable and come with private bicycles for island exploration. One bedroom villas come with a large lounge area as well as an additional guest bathroom, plus a large terrace with sun loungers and patio table, and a private pool. The expansive four bedroom villas have been thoughtfully positioned just a short distance from the beach and offer the ultimate in privacy and comfort.
Activity
Alphonse Atoll boasts captivating snorkeling and diving experiences amidst its enchanting lagoons and vibrant coral reefs. Dive enthusiasts can explore 24 dive sites within a 30-minute reach, encountering a diverse marine world, from Green and Hawksbill turtles to manta rays, eagle rays, orca, blue whales, sharks, and giant sweetlips. Fishing, particularly catch and release fly-fishing, is a popular activity, complemented by ocean safari boat trips for whale and dolphin sightings. Alphonse Island offers various activities, including assisting in tracking nesting turtles, nature walks to meet resident giant tortoises, birdwatching with over 100 species, historical bike tours, and island-hopping day trips. Families can indulge in the Tribes programs, which feature island-themed activities for kids of all ages.
