Within the shade of a 35-hectare tropical garden, the Trou Aux Biches Golf Resort & Spa enjoys prime position on the north west coast of the island, near to lively Grand Baie and Port Louis. Set on an idyllic sheltered sandy beach, on one of the best beach stretches in Mauritius, the resort provides the ideal setting for a honeymoon or special celebration, or simply a get away from the pace of everyday life.

Rooms

It's an all suite affair here, and the resort offers an impressive choice of accommodation from Beachfront Suites with their own plunge pools to two and three-bedroom family villas. The chalet-style suites are built in crescents, whilst the private villas are tucked among the lush tropical gardens. All suites come with a balcony or terrace; and villas and Beachfront Suites have private pools.

Facilities

An all inclusive resort, there's a wealth of complimentary activities including waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing, whilst on terra firma, there are six floodlit tennis courts and a fitness centre. The hotel also boasts a large pool designed as a key feature in the main areas, whilst the lagoon's warm, crystal-clear waters provide excellent sea swimming opportunities.  Or relax at the Spa Beachcomber, tucked in tropical gardens it features 20 cabins and all types of pampering, including hammams, a yoga terrace, hairdresser and beauty parlour and a relaxation pool.

Children

There's a Kids Club for 3 to 11 year olds and Teen's Club for 12 to 17s with plenty of activities to keep younger travellers entertained. The six restaurants cater for all tastes from Mediterranean cuisine at Il Corallo to Thai at Blue Ginger; whilst L'Oasis serves international cuisine from pizzas to grill food. Casual beachfront dining can be found at La Caravelle.
