About The Grandes Alps
The Grandes Alpes is one of the oldest and most exclusive hotels in Courchevel 1850. Created in 1948 it opened its doors simultaneously with the resorts first ever ski lift. The perfect blend of a 5-star hotel and a private chalet, the property enjoys arguably the best location in the resort, with ski in/ski out access yet only a moment’s walk to an array of boutiques, bars, cafés and restaurants.
Accommodation
Consisting of nine exceptional and charming private apartments from three to four bedrooms, all named after precious jewels with an interior décor to match. Each comes complete with professional kitchens, ample living space and ensuite bathrooms, furnished with state-of-the-art technology and cosy wood-burners. For smaller groups the apartments can be broken down in to individual rooms and suites. Suite and Apartment guests are offered their own private butler, housekeeper and optional private chef.
Facilities
Guests of the Grandes Alpes can also enjoy all of the hotel’s facilities including the Bellefontaine Spa which offers a selection of massage treatments and beauty therapies. Other facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam, fitness room and hair salon. The property also has it's very own ZAI ski shop to provide everything needed to hit the slopes straight away.
Dining
For dining, Restaurant Sylvestre Wahid seats 8-20 guests and promises a unique gastronomic experience from 2 Michelin starred chef Sylvester Wahid. Varying tasting menus of up to 15 courses showcase Wahid's modern interpretation of classic French cuisine. It is also possible to arrange in advance the services of a private chef in your apartment for lunch or dinner. They will prepare any kind of food, from a simple family dinner to a multiple course tasting menu based on your cuisine preferences. Located on the ground floor with an open terrace facing the ski slopes, Bellini's Lounge Bar is the place to enjoy a drink from the superb selection of spirits, liquors, cocktails and a range of vintage champagnes. Tea time offers pastries, hot chocolates and crepes.
