Rooms

There are 41 rooms in total. 15 in the main building, 15 in the gardens (including a 5 bedroom villa and 3 pool suites), and 11 in the new retreat. Each room is uniquely decorated with traditional Moroccan interiors, where you can relax and unwind on a private terrace or by the swimming pool hidden in the depths of the garden.

Food

The food at the Kasbah is nothing short of delicious. For lunch and dinner, there is a range of options including traditional Berber recipes and European dishes. A highlight is BBQ spread on the terrace with delicious homemade desserts. For breakfast, you can enjoy pancakes with honey, fresh fruit, yoghurts, homemade cakes, eggs and freshly squeezed juice. Alcohol is available here.

Activities

Outside the Kasbah, you can uncover the beauty of the surrounding villages, either on foot or trekking by camel. Find yourself journeying through the valley, learning about local Berber life, enjoying a picnic in the mountain forest and descending down into the valley, exploring the national parks, waterfalls, salt flats, local markets and more.

Spa

The beautiful Beldi spa, located in the Kasbah’s gardens - a quaint space to enjoy a selection of well-being treatments from massages to a Hammam (traditional steam bath), manicures and more.

Eco-friendly

Kasbah bab Ourika prides itself on its sustainable approach. Having been built using traditional Berber techniques of rammed earth, the thick walls help to insulate the building, along with fitted solar panels. The chef uses locally sourced ingredients from the Kasbah's gardens and local villages.

Who for

Whilst a family-friendly environment, it's worth noting it's a more mature setting, appealing to honeymooners and couples. However, there's plenty to keep the kids entertained. In addition to the pool, there is table tennis and garden games.
