Namibia Flying Safari
overview

Given the size of Namibia, the best way to cover the maximum distance in the shortest period of time is by plane. Gaze down at Namibia’s mesmerising scenery as it unfolds before you. It’s only from the air that you can really appreciate the mind-boggling vastness of this epic desert savannah landscape.

Namibia is awe-inspiringly impressive from all angles, but if we had to choose one way to marvel at the magnificent landscapes, it would be from up high in the sky where the views show no end.

For six nights, you’ll swap four wheels for two wings and travel across Namibia on a series of short flights.

Start your itinerary by flying into the Namib Desert, treating your eyes to the majestic spectacle of the towering dunes of Sossusvlei below. Begin your safari adventure with a 2-night stay at the captivating Kwessi Dunes, where your room will be equipped with  it's own under-the-stars bed and a private desert facing plunge pool.

Sit back, relax and let the scenery unfold.

From here you will fly North up the famous Skeleton Coast, known for it's desert coastline and wash up shipwrecks. Briefly touchdown for lunch in Swakopmund, before taking to the skies once more for your inward journey. Arrive for your next 2-night stay at the inviting Hoanib Valley Camp, located in the stunning Hoanib Valley amongst desert adapted lion, elephant and much more. You will also have the opportunity to visit the indigenous Himba people.

From Hoanib, you'll take a remarkable overland journey to the Shipwreck Lodge sited on the Skeleton Coast, where you'll reside for an additional two nights. This camp offers a unique experience in an area no other camp operates. Expect a long mysterious coastline, potentially wild conditions and utter isolation.

Rejoining your aircraft, you'll partake in a final flight across the heartland of the country, culminating in your arrival at Windhoek fro your flight home.
