Set within the community-led Sorris Sorris Conservancy, the lodge’s striking rammed-earth architecture and Scandinavian-inspired interiors blend seamlessly into the rugged landscape. Rooms

The lodge features nine spacious open-plan suites—four with double beds and five with raised twin platforms—each set on wooden decks and equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, en-suite bathrooms with both bath and rain shower, and private terraces overlooking the plains. Built with thick stone walls and pale timber interiors, the suites stay cool while providing comfort and serenity at the heart of the desert. ()

Dining

Sorris Sorris offers elegant yet relaxed dining experiences, with gourmet meals prepared by expert chefs and served in a light-filled dining lounge or on the deck beside the pool. The cuisine fuses local Namibian game and flavours with international finesse, complemented by fine wines and breath-taking sunset views. Guests often enjoy candlelit dinners and sociable sundowners, all framed by the lodge’s dramatic scenery.  

Activity

Guests can explore the stark desert through guided game drives and walking safaris to encounter desert-adapted elephants, black rhinos, and rare species. Excursions include visits to the Brandberg Massif to see ancient rock art, cultural tours with the local community, and optional hot-air balloon rides at dawn. Back at camp, wildlife sightings from the deck and tranquil moments by the pool complete the experience.
