Klein's Camp
In a remote corner of the game-rich Serengeti National Park, this 10,000 hectare (24,700 acre) wildlife concession -leased from Maasai landlords- offers guests an exclusive Tanzanian safari.
Boasting one of the finest views in Africa, spend afternoons on your personal verandah overlooking smoky views of distant hills. Wooded hillsides, rolling grasslands and forested river banks, all teem with rich wildlife in this natural haven.
Perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, Klein's Camp commands breathtaking views down the valley that borders the Serengeti and the Masai Mara.
Set in a landscape that is gentle yet rugged, Klein's Camp reflects the heart of this untamed land with a vintage safari style. The stone interiors of the guest areas open up to breathtaking panoramas, with open fireplaces to keep the chill away. Featuring a beautifully furnished bar and sitting area, stone floors and deep leather armchairs invite you to while away the hours.
The Cottages
Klein’s Camp consists of just ten intimate cottages made of local stone and thatch with rich wooden floors and classic interiors. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom and private veranda, where guests can marvel at extraordinary views down the valley while sipping on your favourite drink from your personal bar.
The Food
Fresh vegetables picked from the camp’s organic vegetable garden, are used to create wholesome dishes. Meals are served in the main dining area, or under the stars on the concession.
Activities
Game drives are tailored to suit your preference, with a choice between shorter, twice-daily drives or one full-day game drive, with a stop for a picnic lunch. The game drives are carefully planned to anticipate the progress of the Great Migration. However, if the Migration has moved off, or the dramatic river crossings are in progress, you may choose to spend more time setting off in search of the exceptional resident game.
