Camp

Tucked under a shady grove of trees, the heart of Tongabezi is the Tonga Lounge, a reading and dining haven with a casual cocktail bar and sumptuous river jetty. Next to this is the ultimate chill-out area, The Lookout which does exactly as its name suggests and offers fabulous views over the Zambezi from enormous sofas and leather armchairs on multiple levels. A shimmering swimming pool mimics the colours of the Zambezi and invites guests to cool off.

Rooms

The lodge consists of five River Cottages and six Private Houses, each of which has a dedicated valet who takes care of guests throughout their stay. Boasting high ceilings and expansive wooden and glass doors and windows, the rooms combine authentic local style with a beautifully clean, modern design. Each cottage is an exquisite private haven where both indoor and outdoor spaces are focused on the river flowing by. Whether intended for couples or families, each individually designed house features elegant natural interiors that bring out the beauty of the natural setting.
