Nestled in a private conservation area within Kenya's northern Laikipia Plateau region, Ol Malo Lodge is a cherished family-owned and -run ranch. This expansive 5000-acre (2023 hectares) rugged landscape, adorned with hills and valleys overlooking Mount Kenya, has been lovingly restored from overgrazed cattle farmland to its original untamed state. The lodge comprises four private cottages crafted from thatch and stone, perched along an escarpment, offering breathtaking views of the valleys and mountains beyond. Rooms

Set around an inviting infinity pool, Ol Malo's four cottages, made from rock and olive wood, are ingeniously built into the cliffs, creating a haven of privacy akin to a home away from home. Each cottage features an en-suite bathroom, and from the comfort of the large beds, couples can awaken to awe-inspiring vistas of Mount Kenya through grand picture windows. In addition to these charming cottages, there is also a remarkable six-bedroom house suitable for families or larger groups of visitors.
