Located along the Sand River, the camp provides a front-row seat to the dramatic wildlife spectacles of the Masai Mara, from herds of wildebeest crossing the river during the migration season to the predators that follow them. Activity
At Sand River guests can immerse themselves in the rich wildlife and culture of the region through a variety of expertly guided activities. Game drives, offered twice daily, provide thrilling encounters with the abundant wildlife of the Masai Mara, including lions, elephants, leopards, and cheetahs. The camp’s location along the Sand River is particularly advantageous during the Great Migration, when massive herds of wildebeest and zebra traverse the plains, often followed by predators. For a different perspective, guests can embark on guided walking safaris, learning about the smaller fauna and flora of the savannah with the help of experienced guides.
