If you're an adventurous spirit who thrives on adrenaline-pumping journeys, consider yourself fortunate, as we've recently unveiled our thrilling Botswana Guided Cycling Adventure.
The best routes are often those less travelled. Our Botswana guided cycling safaris travel through some of the most beautiful safari destinations on earth. This could be the wildest ride of your life!
Experience the Okavango Delta on 2 Wheels
Crafted for adventurous explorers and wildlife enthusiasts, this six-night journey through the Okavango Delta is a groundbreaking safari experience like no other. Participants will traverse the ancient elephant trails that have shaped this pristine Botswana landscape for centuries, pedaling amidst remarkable wildlife encounters while passing through acacia woodlands, meandering riverbanks, mopane forests, and sprawling savannah grasslands.
Each cycling excursion will be guided by two seasoned experts, with one leading from the front and the other ensuring the rear. These guides possess extensive experience cycling and exploring these wildlife-rich regions, revealing the most enchanting facets of this landscape while covering distances ranging from 40 to 70 kilometers each day.
The adventure commences in the safari hub of Maun, from where you'll be transported to a site just south of Moremi Game Reserve, marking the starting point of your cycling odyssey. By the third day, you'll reach the Khwai River, offering ample opportunities for wildlife sightings. On the fifth day, you'll transfer to Khwai Private Reserve.
Your professional cycling safari guides will navigate you through off-road terrain, including single-track game trails and jeep tracks, with daily cycling durations of three to five hours, uncovering the secrets etched into the animal pathways of the Okavango Delta. For the initial four nights of the expedition, you'll reside in our luxury mobile safari camp, strategically pitched in diverse locations, always with a backup vehicle nearby.
The concluding two nights will be spent at the casually elegant Little Sable Lodge, with the option to slumber al fresco at Skybeds on one of the nights. Here, you'll be utterly captivated, sleeping atop a five-meter-high wooden platform with only a mosquito net separating you from the celestial night sky.
