About

Kinondo Kwetu is located on a tranquil private beach on a 16 acre plot south of Diani Beach, distanced from residential neighbours by rocky cliffs and endless beach. Family-owned and run by Ida and Filip Andersson, who live on site with their three children, you can be sure of warm and personal service - the meals here are also excellent and really fresh, and are served in a variety of gorgeous locations: think lunch in an antique boat on the sand, or dinner on the beach under the stars.

Rooms

Accommodation at Kinondo Kwetu is made up of five Cottages, the Mama Taa Villa, the Mama Tina Villa and Alex House. Cottages are made up of 3 double bedroom cottages, 1 double bedroom connecting to a single room, and 1 family cottage with a double bedroom connecting to a single room downstairs and 1 double bedroom upstairs. Mama Taa Villa has 2 double rooms, 4 interconnecting rooms, 1 honeymoon suite, and 1 family suite. All rooms here are sold separately. Mama Tina Villa has 1 double bedroom and 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom. Alex House is a private villa with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 1 open-plan living room/kitchen.

Activity

Kinondo Kwetu offers a whole host of activities and water sports, from kitesurfing and stand-up paddle boarding to snorkelling and deep sea fishing, plus there’s an on-site dive centre too. Keen tennis players will appreciate the hotel's plexipaved tennis court, whilst golfers can enjoy a round at the Leisure Lodge Golf Club, just 15 minutes away. Kinondo Kwetu even has it's own onsite stables, so horse riding on the beach or the sacred 'Kaya' forests is also on offer. For those seeking rest and relaxation, the hotel has two pools, a sauna and a yoga deck.
