Mokolwane

Rooms
The camp comprises seven canvas tents, including one family unit, all elevated approximately three metres above the ground among fig, jackalberry, and ilala palm trees. Each tent features en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and indoor showers, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, and private decks offering views of the Matsebi River. The family tent includes an additional twin room, sharing the bathroom facilities.
Dining
Meals at Mokolwane are served in a communal dining area on a raised wooden platform, providing expansive views of the surrounding plains. Guests can enjoy locally inspired dishes while observing wildlife from the comfort of the dining area. A nearby firepit offers a cosy setting for evening storytelling and stargazing.
Activities
Mokolwane offers a range of activities, including morning and evening game drives led by experienced guides, providing opportunities to observe elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, and various antelope species. Seasonal mokoro excursions allow guests to explore the delta’s waterways, while birdwatching enthusiasts can spot species such as Pel’s fishing owl and wattled cranes.
