Singita Ebony Lodge
Singita Ebony Lodge is where Afro-chic meets colonial comfort to fashion a remarkable wilderness sanctuary. Nestled along the serene banks of the Sand River within Singita Private Game Reserve, this lodge offers a haven of exceptional comfort and style.
About
Inspired by the adventurous charm of safari, the Singita Ebony Lodge embodies the thrill of the African bushveld. The lodge's communal area towers above the river, offering extensive views, particularly from the wooden, multi-level deck area. The eclectic style indoors combines bold fabrics and local artwork with brass chandeliers and colonial leather furniture. There are comfortable seating and dining areas, plus a bar, library, wine cellar, spa and the Singita gallery. Beyond the glass doors is the deck area, a swimming pool and a boma for meals under the stars.
Rooms
Each of the 12 private suites at Singita Ebony Lodge have their own unique character; interiors feature vintage furniture and curated collections of artefacts. Suites are air-conditioned and have a large mosquito-tented bed, an en-suite bathroom with inside and outdoor showers and a tub, a minibar fridge and a double-sided fireplace for chilly evenings. Walls are floor-to-ceiling glass and there's a private deck with seating and a heated plunge pool.
Activities
The Singita Private Reserve, within Sabi Sand Reserve, is a game-lover's paradise, with excellent Big Five sightings and a pack of 20-odd rare wild dogs. Along with day and night game drives and walking safaris, there are regular birding tours and community visits. There's also a fully equipped gym, tailor made massage therapies and wine tasting with the in-house sommelier. For little adventurers, the exciting Mini Rangers’ Course offers specially crafted fun filled activities.
