The Arabic translation of "majlis" is 'a gathering place', particularly one for people with similar interests. Thus, it is fitting that the upper-floor central bar and open-air lounge area are designed in a beautiful traditional Swahili/Arabic style, featuring exquisitely carved doors and archways. Downstairs offers an elegant space with soft white fabrics highlighting the carved light woods and bleached coral-block walls. Additionally, there is a beachside bar, a restaurant that uses local ingredients prepared with international flair, and a watersports and wellness centre.
